My stay at Station House Self Catering, Catton was fantastic. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for my needs. The location was perfect, allowing me easy access to Hadrian's Wall and other nearby attractions. I especially appreciated the helpful information provided about the local sites. The owner, Stefan, was very welcoming and made me feel at home during my stay.
Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the softness of one of the mattresses and limited local shops, these did not detract from the overall positive experience. The apartment had plenty of heaters and rugs to keep me warm, and the cozy atmosphere added to the comfort.

loved the clean, well-equipped apartment at Station House. Stefan's warm welcome made us feel right at home. Easy access to the roman wall was a bonus after our previous stay in Hexham.
Heater in one room wasn't working.

The nearest airport was conveniently far away, so it gave me a sense of adventure. Free parking meant I didn't have to pay for my reasons for visiting. The sun terrace allowed me to pretend I was on a tropical vacation.
I just loved struggling to find the place and not being able to contact anyone. Really added a touch of mystery to my stay.

Got great value for our money at Station House. The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect for our walk along Hadrian's Wall and Stefan, the staff member, was very welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.
